ARC REVIEW: A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi

   Behold one of the most marvelous books I've ever read. Last year, I completely devoured Roshani's debut The Star Touched Queen, which became an instant favorite of mine. But A Crown of Wishes definitely surpasses that love. It's too grand for me to put into words how much I loved this!!

   It's been quite a while since I've really started blogging again, I forget I had started this monthly feature of sharing what books release for the month. I decided to bring it back but this time, I will only be sharing diverse books since that's what I want my blog's focus to be on from now on.

Stop Recommending Bad "Diverse" Books

   The reason why I put exclamation marks around the word diverse is because I don't consider certain books I always see being recommended as diverse books. We constantly hear how they have bad representation or problematic but they're still constantly pushed as diverse. Why is that?

2017 Books I Am Dying For: Contemporary Edition

   It's been so long since I've posted that I miss blogging. My reading slump got worse for the second half of last year that I sort of just crashed and didn't really read. Though I tried picking up books and that's my main reason for not posting anything.

   But it's a brand new year and I feel like I can just start all over.

US vs. UK Covers

   Often times when a book is released in more countries, the cover is edited a bit or changed completely to make it appealing to consumers in a specific country.

   I usually prefer US covers but the UK covers have definitely given them a run for their money. 

   There was actually a time when I actually ordered a book from Book Depository because I wanted the UK edition.

When I received an email for blog tour invitation to The Sun Is Also A Star, I was ecstatic!! I thought it wasn't real and that I was out of my league to be able to part of this. I immediately accepted because I thought it would fill up quickly. I mean this is the same author that wrote Everything Everything. And it certainly was everything (LOL).

May Wrap-Up & June TBR

   I wish PicMonkey would let people save the font colors we've previously used and let us type it in so we don't have to keep moving the mouse around in the color chart. That would make my life so much easier. And it explains why, every time, the titles in all my pictures are not matching colors.

   But enough about that. I'm here to talk about what I read in May and what my reading plans are for June.
