So I meant to have this post up in January but as you guys know or don't know, I got into my big blogging slump so I wasn't really uploading anything. But I am back and running as you can clearly see from my previous posts!!
>> Schedule Posts In Advance<<
It really helps to reduce my stress when I already have some posts scheduled. But I've been sadly failing in this department. The highest number of posts I can have ready and scheduled is 18. I'm always so envious of people that have a month of posts ready.
There needs to be some type of challenge to motivate me. I have so many post ideas that I've made drafts for but I lack the inspiration to write them.
>>Takes Notes While Reading<<
I've noticed that when I've taken notes down while reading, I've had more to say when I've writing my review versus when I don't take notes.
I always forget to do it or I just get lazy. Sometimes, I'm so immersed in a book that I don't want to stop to jot down my notes. But I want to get into the habit of making notes.
Maybe it might help if I get a journal specifically for this purpose!!
>>Focus On The Books I Already Own<<
While I've been lucky enough to read some new releases of this year, I don't want to get caught up on all of them and forget about the books already on my shelves. I did that last year and I don't want to do it again!!
>>Write Review As Soon As I Finish A Book<<
This seems to be such recent problem I'm having. I finish a book and I jump onto another when I should have written a review first.
I hate this because then I start to forget all the details and my reviews start to become too general!!

>> Remember I Don't Have To Review Every Book I Read <<
Speaking of writing reviews as I finish a book... I didn't write reviews for the books I read before I began to blog. I certainly don't have to do it for every book now because book blogging isn't all just about reviewing. It's a hobby. If I tell myself to review all the books I've read, it'll start to get stressful and make it feel like a job, which it's not.
>>Visit Blogs & Reply To Comments<<
This is something I've been lacking at for quite some time. It's this big slump I have and I don't know how to get rid of it. And I've missed out on so many posts that have appealed to me but I haven't had the motivation to click on them.
I came up with this idea to pick 1 or 2 days of the week, save links to posts on Google Docs (or something), and just come back to them later.
>>Sign Up For Less Blog Tours<<
I see blog tours as another great opportunity to read a book I'm dying for before it's released but it just adds to my TBR pile. And like I said before, I want to focus on books I already own.
I've actually been doing good so far. I've ignored SO MANY I wanted to sign up!! It was very tempting but I've been throwing those emails in the trash.
