My New Year's Blogging Resolutions

It's been 1 year since I started Watcha Reading and yet I feel like I'm still new at this. I feel like I need to be more organized. This year was crazy for me especially at the start of the year.

I decided to make some goals for 2015 so that I know what I want to do because this year just felt off for me and my blogging. In some ways, I am still new so hopefully this list will help.

2015 TBR Pile Reading Challenge

"We all have those books. We buy them, win them, they're gifted to us. Then we put them up on a bookshelf and there they stay, collecting dust, waiting for the time when we'll finally decide to pick them up."

This is my first time doing this. I wanted to do the 2014 challenge but it was already ending so I saw no point. But this will be perfect because I have so many books that I've been wanting to read. My TBR is piling up and I want to get as much done as possible since I graduated high school. It will keep me busy while I look for a job so I should have loads of time to read.

The beginning of this year was really stressful as my time as a student was ending and I was applying for colleges. And so far I have only read 35 books this year. But I'm aiming to go high for the year of 2015. I want to go past 100 but for now I'll leave it at around 41-50 books and see how it goes.

Date Published: October 31, 2014
Format: E-Arc, 241
Series: Gypsy Heealers, #2

Dalton Black, a Canis lupis full of guilt and anger, never expected to find his true mate. Perhaps already slipping into madness, he had resigned himself to the fact that he would walk the earth without the other half of his soul. He was convinced that his sins were enough to keep the Great Luna from giving him such a blessing. He knew it was probably better that way. His past was as dark as his name and after three centuries of running from it, the memories were finally catching up to him. But all of those resignations evaporated when he saw her broken and bloodied body lying on that alter. Though the man didn’t recognize her, the wolf did. Through battle and bloodshed he was able to save her from the evil that held her captive, but now he would need her to save him from himself.
Jewel Stone was wholly unaware of the ancient bloodlines of Gypsy Healers, mates to Canis lupis and protectors of the packs – much less that she carried that blood herself. But when a beautiful but deadly

I'm Going to ALA Midwinter!!!

ALA stands for American Library Association and it is essentially an event specifically for librarians but it is open to bloggers/book reviewers and the public. Of course, the rates will go up if you're not an ALA member. But I'm only going to be visiting the exhibits, which isn't really expensive.

This is my first book event EVER!!!

I'm not joking when I say this. I've never been to any author signings or book festivals. But this will be perfect because there will be authors and books!! It'll be a mix of both.
