Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well-respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption.
When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.
An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love, and redemption, Gabriel’s Inferno is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man’s escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible—forgiveness and love.

Discussion: Book Buying Preferences

Discussion Time!

“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”

Today's Topic Is:

What are you Book Buying Preferences?

I personally love hardcovers and if I had the money, I would buy them over paperbacks. I honestly don't mind paperbacks but they get ripped and folded so easily. And the freaking corners start to open or bend. And hardcovers are so handy and can last for an eternity versus a paperback.

Book Boyfriend Alphabet Challenge

It sounds exactly like you read it. Basically, you have to write down the very first book boyfriend that comes to your mind when you reach the letter. And you have to do it in under 2 minutes.

You can choose how you want to go along with it. It can be YA, NA, or Adult books (Or all three). And it can be of any genre. You can decide to just do YA Contemporary or just pure randomness. Have fun with this!! And you can worry about writing the book/series of the characters later, you can just write their first name first.

Mysterious doors with lizard-head knobs. Talking stone statues. A crazy girl with a hatchet. Yep, Liv’s dreams have been pretty weird lately. Especially this one where she’s in a graveyard at night, watching four boys perform dark magic rituals.

They’re classmates from her new school in London, the school where’s she’s starting over because her mom has moved them to a new country (again). But they seem to know things about her in real life that they couldn’t possibly know, which is mystifying. Then again, Liv could never resist a good

ALA Midwinter recap

Day One (Saturday)

The day before ALA, I was super nervous and anxious. I was following the Twitter hashtag #alamw15 to see the opening madness of the exhibits. It just got me even more pumped up!! I couldn't wait to go to the next day.

When I got there, I actually entered the wrong building and if it weren't for the security guards who told the two ladies in front of me where the event really was, I would have gotten lost. But I followed them and thankfully the building was connected to the right building.

This was exactly why I wanted to get there 30 minutes early and it worked to my advantage. I was able to to go to the "registered in advance" counters and picked up my badge and tote. And I had

February's TBR Thursday!!

TBR Thursday is a meme I created so that it could help me keep track of the books I want to read for the month. And just help me cross off TBR books that are advanced reader's copies and books that are just collecting dust on our shelves. On the last day of every month as part of my monthly wrap-up, I will recap how I did (Books read, reviews posted, and my Top Three books of the month.)
