So this is off topic for my blog but still worthwhile because this wrist watch I recently got in the mail is simply unique.
Just gaze upon it's beauty and fall in love!! And there's a giveaway at the end...
I first discovered this company that makes these beautiful wood watches when a couple people I follow on Instagram started posting photos of them.
Never in my life have I seen wood watches. I walk in stores and it's all gold or silver. And I just love the look and feel of this wood watch. It looks more antique and old. And I favor things that have an old look!

I got this stunning JORD wood watch a couple days ago and I was just dying for it to come in the mail.
You could say I was watch-struck when I opened the package up and held it in my hands. It's simply stunning and makes for a unique gift. Not only are there watches for women but there are watches for men too.
The model I have is the Fieldcrest Dark Sandalwood but there are three other models in this series I also love. I just prefer darker wood for some reason!
I love that it was very easy to set to the right time with the little notch on the right side of the watch. And it didn't come with complicated directions like I've experienced with different watches.
It even comes with a mini pillow that I'm obsessed with. And we get a nice looking wood box with the JORD symbol, where we can store our watch in. I confess that I have started using it as jewelry box too.
I think the thing I love the most about this timepiece is that it just fits with whatever I wear. And it deserves to be shown off to the world.
It also fits on my wrist quite perfectly since you can select your size. This way, you don't have to fumble around fixing the size yourself.
All together, I think this wood watch makes for a perfect unique gift to anyone. I always struggle to find things for my family and this just seems like a good gift for anyone.
