(The Worst) Monthly Wrap Up + May TBR

This month was perhaps the worst reading month I've had in my history of reading. EVER! I just want to move onto May and never look back.

But after today, it's a brand new month and a chance to start over. And I plan to add more New Adult to my TBR...

Making a Marauder's Map from Harry Potter

The idea of making a Marauder's Map just popped into my head and I couldn't stop thinking about it until I made one.

I know I could purchase it somewhere but where's the fun in that?? Plus it would be $40+ when I can just make it myself!

Bookstagram 101: Improving The Quality of Pictures

Have you ever felt frustrated because maybe your photos were darker in some areas? It's always too dark for pictures? Maybe your photos look too yellowish? Or maybe you don't like how the picture turned out? Then you've come to right place...

New Adult Vs. Young Adult

Why is it so easy to get into New Adult than Young Adult?

If you didn't know, New Adult is a developing genre where the characters are in the ages of 18-30. Most novels take place during college but not all the times. They are intended for readers above the age of 18 or older because there are sexual themes and sometimes they deal with darker issues.

This year has not been the most easy with my reading. I've been on a off and on reading slump!! Usually when that happens, I pick up a New Adult novel and I fly by through it.

My Reversible Palace-Crown Bookmark

(Click on the banner for the rest of the tour)

I first started thinking about DIY's and what not when I first signed for this online parade. My original idea was to recreate the shimmering gold spine with glitter. But that turned out to be such a huge mess. I still had fun with it but I realized that it's not for me.

Mermaids don't do glitter; they do water so I'll just stick with my watercolor features!!

ARC REVIEW: The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

Watch me flail over this drop-dead gorgeous fantasy. I was going to wait to post this closer to the release date but I wanted to give you all little something too.

My thoughts and feelings are completely everywhere in my review so beware of that!! It's more like a fangirl book talk than review because I'm just flailing everywhere but THAT'S OKAY! Also stay tuned for the epic giveaway at the end of my review fangirling.

Watch Me Recreate The Crown's Game Cover | Blog Tour

Hey guys!! Welcome to my stop on The Crown's Game blog tour, hosted by Brittany from Brittany's Book Rambles. I was going to do a review but then I thought I would try something else I've never done before on my blog. Recreate an entire book cover!!

I've been wanting to start making DIY's and other sorts of art crafts. But for the cover of The Crown's Game, it turned out rather more difficult than I anticipated. I originally wanted use paper only and cut out the parts. But just look at the water reflection and the sky! That's when I decided I would use watercolors for those areas and use construction paper for the crown-looking palace.

Now I'm no artist but I think it turned out much better than I expected!! Also stay tuned for the awesome giveaway for your chance to win an arc and a tote bag inspired by The Crown's Game.

REVIEW: The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows

^^ Does this banner look weird?? ^^

I've been wanting to add bookish photos to my blog so it's about time I test it out. I'm not too sure about the middle font. I tried about a million fonts and I'm too indecisive about which I like best so I might switch it around.

Now about The Orphan Queen... It was the first book I read this year and it was EXTRAORDINAR!! I had the chance to read the second book recently and it's just as good!!

HarperTEEN Summer 2016 Tour

Hi guys!!! I'm really sorry for dropping just blog tours lately. I have tons of posts I'd love to publish but I just haven't had the motivation to blog. I'm also in a HUGE reading slump because every time I try to pick up a book, I just start skimming because it's not holding my attention. That's not a good sign. I will try to do better!!

   But enough about me...

I'm very excited to be part of this huge tour because it's HarperTEEN!!! They always have (SO MANY) amazing books coming out each year.

Diversity Spotlight Tuesday: Latinx Books

Now this is a feature that just speaks to me especially since I mostly read books by marginalized authors. And it's all I want to ...
