The Young Elites Made A Villain Out Of Me + Giveaway

There's something I've always wanted to say to you guys and I think you're all finally ready...

I'm actually a super villain in disguise of a blogger! BEWARE!!

In order to celebrate the release of The Young Elites coming out in paperback, I was asked by Penguin to come up with my own villain identity.

They're also giving away an ARC of the second book, The Rose Society, to one lucky reader in the US, which releases on October 13, 2015!

I am...

The Aqua Fiend

I lure people into the waters and make readers out of them. But I keep them with me forever and they can never stop reading...

I manipulate water and create thunderstorms!

I like to lure men into the sea to keep as my shiny new toys! And use them as my audience for when I sing and read.

I love going on land to steal from bookstores and libraries... Mermaids have legs too you know!!

And my trustee sailors carry all my books.

I'm the stay at home villain. Once my team is done with our business of the day, they come into the water dome I've created that lets them breath. We're unreachable from the heroes!

My Squad:

Rhysand from A Court Of Thorns And Roses

Catwoman

The Darkling from the Grisha series

 Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter

 Harley Quinn

Catwoman and I are usually fighting over the men in our squad. I'm always threatening to put her under my siren spell.

Harley is usually too busy dreaming about the Joker. And making fun of Catwoman for being with Batman.

I always have to break them up!

The Young Elites, #1

I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside.
Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. Her cruel father believes she is a malfetto, an abomination, ruining their family’s good name and standing in the way of their fortune. But some of the fever’s survivors are rumored to possess more than just scars—they are believed to have mysterious and powerful gifts, and though their identities remain secret, they have come to be called the Young Elites.
Teren Santoro works for the king. As Leader of the Inquisition Axis, it is his job to seek out the Young Elites, to destroy them before they destroy the nation. He believes the Young Elites to be dangerous and vengeful, but it’s Teren who may possess the darkest secret of all.
Enzo Valenciano is a member of the Dagger Society. This secret sect of Young Elites seeks out others like them before the Inquisition Axis can. But when the Daggers find Adelina, they discover someone with powers like they’ve never seen.
Adelina wants to believe Enzo is on her side, and that Teren is the true enemy. But the lives of these three will collide in unexpected ways, as each fights a very different and personal battle. But of one thing they are all certain: Adelina has abilities that shouldn’t belong in this world. A vengeful blackness in her heart. And a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.
It is my turn to use. My turn to hurt.

  3. LOL, your power is awesome, Karina! xD I probably wouldn't want Rhysand on my team because he's a manipulative asshole, but I am so on board with having Catwoman and Draco (because he's DRACO) on my squad. ;) I'd probably ask Draco to marry me after a while, though. HA.
