Stacking The Shelves: More Books!!

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves; books you buy in physical stores or online; books you borrow from friends or the library, gifts, and e-books!

So this month has been so slow for me. I've only read 3 books. I've also come down with a blogging slump that explains my lack of posts. But I'm trying to break that.

Now go forth and look at all the books I got for the month of September...

I was so surprised when I got The Weight Of Feathers. I was expecting an arc copy and when it didn't come, I just lost hope. I didn't expect to get a finished copy! I already started it and it's off to a good start.

I've been seeing so many bloggers review Air Awakens and it just got my complete attention. Especially with that cover!! I was so happy to be able to get a review copy from the author.

Yeah I broke my book ban. But it was for my birthday!! And I have been dying to read all these books for a while too.

I've actually already read The Bronze Horseman. AMAZING!!! Completely sad but romantic! I'm already on the last book. The second and last book aren't as good as the first one though.

Finally got myself an adult coloring book. I've been eyeing these bad boys for a while now. But I wanted the Enchanted Forest one! The only reason I got this one was because it was at Target and I didn't want to wait for the online order to come.

But then guess what?! A couple days later, Target decides to put out Enchanted Forest! (-_-)

I was given a finished copy of this for being part of the blog tour, which I had so much fun taking part in. Here's the post if you missed it: click here.

I'm so sad to see this series go. It was one of my very first YA books I read. And it had me so hooked!! It was so amazing to be reading from Kaidan Rowe's point of view. Guys, he's the son of the duke of lust so he's very naughty!!

Bow down, the queen is here!!

I was lucky enough to win a copy of Queen Of Shadows. I can't read it since I still have to get to Heir Of Fire but I was still in "awe" when this baby was dropped in my mail box! And those buttons are the best thing ever even though I have no use for them other then just being inside my little swag box. They're fun though!

Still Free!!

You guys know I'm about kindle freebies! I'm most excited for Before You Go and When Fates Collide. But I also love the cover for A Reaper Of Stone and Steel Maiden. And the summary for Starstruck sounds super interesting.

What did you guys get the month of September?

    1. I recently added it to my TBR because of this one review I read and it completely caught my attention so I had to get it. And you should most definitely read Throne Of Glass! It's what got me into reading fantasy

Because seriously, I don't know what to do with them either ;) And it is okay to buy books on your birthday, it's an exception to any ban :D Happy belated birthday, and I hope you enjoy all of these!

  10. I pre-ordered QOS and I don't even know why because I can't even read it yet. I must take down HOF first! * squeals * I really hope you like The Weight Of Feathers. I adored the story so much, so do tell me via twitter or here of course what you thought about it! I have to read Air Awakens as well! Are you reading Fire Falling too? I've heard really good things about AA, so I'm excited to binge read both. I've been wanting to read NIL for quite some time now, and ugh I wish A Reaper of Stone was still free. I like that cover! lol

    1. Same here!! Also I can't wait to read The Weight Of Feathers. Everyone seems to love it. I'll be reading Fire Falling if I loved Air Awakens. I still have to read it. And I'm also bummed that A Reaper Of Stone isn't free!! That was the freebie I was the most excited show everyone :(

  11. I would so love to read and review AIR AWAKENS! That cover art is just so amazing O.O I can totally feel the adventure vibes from it. Reminds me so much of Asian art, though... which is probably why I'm attracted to it so much.

    1. I've already started it and I already like it. The writing is a bit eh for me now so I hope that changes but I still think it's interesting. The cover reminded me of asian anime when I first saw it :D

  12. In September I bought QoS, Six of Crows, Walk on Earth a Stranger, and I received An Inheritance of Ashes for review :)
I also got my first adult coloring book this month as well and I'm super excited about it! It's not The Secret Garden or The Enchanted Forest but I'm still happy I own own now.
Air Awakens and The Weight of Feathers both seem super good. Hope you enjoy them. :)
    Great Haul Karina!

  14. I loved Altered! And its sequel, Erased - though I haven't gotten around to reading Reborn yet. Nil and Nil Unlocked were excellent! The cover of Nil on Fire was just revealed, and I LOVE it. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Karina!
