{Blog Tour: Interview and Giveaway} The Divinicus Next Chronicles by A&E Kirk

Welcome to my stop on the Divinicus Next Chronicles blog tour! Check out my author interview with A&E Kirk. There is also a awesome giveaway and be sure to follow the rest of the tour stops for more awesomeness!! I was so happy to be a part of this blog tour. These series is the bomb especially with the HEX BOYS<3. Yummy is what they are. I love this book and can't wait to read the upcoming books in the future.

Drop Dead Demons by A&E Kirk

Survival. It’s an on-going battle.
GOING ON A TREASURE HUNT…
Aurora Lahey finally knows why supernatural slayers salivate to slaughter her, but how to stop them? Not so much. Sure, she’s discovered her own lethal powers, and has six sexy, super-charged, demon hunting Hex Boys watching her back–the hottest one watching every part of her. But when a seductive stranger delivers a deadly ultimatum, Aurora and the Hex Boys plunge into a do-or-die hunt for a legendary Mandatum treasure, which will finally shift power in their favor. Or unleash hell on earth.
NEX MARKS THE SPOT…
Pursued by demons of mythical proportions, Aurora and the Hex Boys race deeper into the shadowy world of a centuries-old mystery and brutal conspiracy, where no one and nothing is what it seems. Where love and betrayal go hand-in-hand, and trusting the wrong person not only breaks your heart, but gets you killed.
DEMONS ON YOUR TAIL…
Uncovering shocking secrets from the Hex Boys’ past, hiding her Divinicus Nex identity, lying to her pretend-wish-he-were-real boyfriend, dodging demons, breaking into ancient tombs, taking the unexpected side trip to the dark depths of the Waiting World, tracking a traitor, and passing Physics…Aurora could do that in her sleep. Or more likely, die trying.
DON’T GET CAUGHT!

About Drop Dead Demons:

Interview

1. If you could go back and change one thing from Demons at Deadnight, what would it be?

Honestly, we can’t think of anything. We had years and years to get Demons at Deadnight just right. Drop Dead Demons, however, we didn’t have as much time.

Alyssa: I wish we’d had more time to delve into Rose’s darker nature. And I always want to add more humor and action. I love me some explosions!

Eileen: I always want more romance. There’s never enough!

2. Which Hex Boy is your most favorite to write about? And which is the hardest?

Eileen:  I enjoy Matthias. Yes, he’s complicated, but I totally get him. I’m not defending his behavior. He’s often a jerk, especially when it comes to Aurora, but he has his reasons and tapping into his motives behind what he does is fascinating. It’s also fun to have that freedom to write such obnoxious behavior. I’m having fun with Jayden in book 3 as he’s dealing with inner conflict. Tristan is almost in constant worry/turmoil, concerned for others, but he’s going through some changes in book 3 too, so that’s been fun. Hardest would be Logan. Not sure why, maybe because he’s the most normal. Yikes, what does that say about me?

Alyssa: My most favorite is Blake. The guy is hilarious to write. Instantly lightens the mood and I always know what the big guy would say. The hardest for me is Ayden. He’s so smooth, and perfect, and sexy and I don’t have a lot of real life experience to pull from to help me write the guy. I usually reread books with my favorite romantic leads before tackling a big Ayden scene. But hey, if anyone out there knows a guy like him, please introduce me!!!

3. How do you keep track of all the Hex Boys?

It’s…easy? We know the Hex Boys inside and out, so much that’s not on the page, their backstories, where they’re going. It’s like keeping track of your hand. You always know it’s at the end of your arm. Unless you’ve been playing with chainsaws.

4. Which cover would you say is your favorite of the series so far? When will the cover for the third book be released?

Eileen: Drop Dead Demons because it’s a specific scene from the book and you get to see a little bit of what this book’s version of the Waiting World looks like.

Alyssa: Demons at Deadnight for me! I like how Aurora’s dress pops out and the eerie coloring of the clouds. As for the 3rd cover, we are in the process. We have some ideas which we will then show to our fabulous artist Elena Dudina and she brings it to life. Don’t have a date yet, but we will do a cover reveal this time.

5. If you were Aurora, which Hex Boy's attention would you want on you?

Alyssa: Ayden all day long. He’s been my dream guy from day one. He’s so confident and smooth. But despite all that he’s got his imperfections and insecurities like the rest of us that makes him all the more irresistible. And don’t forget his amazing abs!

Eileen: Hmmm. Tough one. I’ll go with Blake because he’s full of light and has a great heart. He’s extremely loyal, loving, and adoring. I know his backstory. There’s a lot going on under the surface and knowing how he’s come out of it with a positive attitude makes me love him so much more. But there’s also Matthias, since I’m such a sucker for dark and brooding. I could fix him, right??? Then there’s Jayden, he’s so intellectual but I’d love to watch as he grows and develops his, in his own words, “frivolous” nature. Tristan would be so attentive, making sure all our dates were perfectly planned and assuring he knew exactly what I needed and wanted. But Logan could take me on a wildly exciting drive with his amazing car racing skills. And it would be so fun watching him blush and try to be romantic. Blake claims Logan’s first kiss could make him faint. Wouldn’t it be a blast to find out? He is so adorable. So, I guess the answer is I can’t pick! Although, I’d have to leave Ayden alone. He’s Alyssa’s main squeeze, and with having the rest as my own personal harem, I couldn’t complain. I’d be too busy managing the group…and loving every minute!

6. Do you go writing one book at a time in the series? Or do you already have each book mapped out to the very end?

If we could do more than one at a time that would be AWESOME! But unfortunately, it’s one by one. We do have the whole series arc in mind. The major things that happen and how it all comes together in the end. Details may change, but not the basic series plot. We write each book going toward a known outcome. Which is…yeah, can’t tell you that!

7. Could you tell us a little bit of what readers can expect for the third book? Or the rest of the series?

This is hard to do without giving away spoilers, but we’ll try.

In Book 3 Aurora has to make some tough decisions about who and what she’s willing to sacrifice to keep her freedom. A few new characters of the deadly variety come in to play that put the Hex Boys in a dangerous situation. Things Aurora and the Hex Boys thought they had fixed in Drop Dead Demons will come back to haunt them. And some big questions from book 1 and 2 are finally answered! Woo-hoo! Things blow up. Shocking, we know.

As for the rest of the series, there are five books planned at the moment, and all we can really say is that there are a lot of surprises ahead, good, bad, and ugly. Aurora and the Hex Boys are going to need each other more than ever! We are dying for the fans to know everything right now, but we can only write so fast and want to enjoy the journey and the fans reactions as it all goes along. There are conversations on Goodreads where fans talk about what they think is going to happen. We love reading those!

Thanks for the great questions and for having us today – it was a blast!

About the Authors

This mother-daughter duo were in and out of inter-dimensional paranormal prisons until they finally quit making up cover stories for secret societies and started writing novels. The Supernatural Continuum Warlords of the Supernatural Continuum Warlordian High Command had pity upon them, and instead of having them slaughtered by the slow, tortuous flesh eating underwater, earthworm squid, they transported them into a habitationally friendly dimension called OOARCHTOHUTHLAMADILFRUMP, also known as 21st Century Earth.

Due to a demon infestation in their sleepy mountain California town, and a lack of sexy Hex Boys to stop them, Alyssa and Eileen were forced to relocate to Los Angeles. The Amazon best seller, DEMONS AT DEADNIGHT, is book one in the DIVINICUS NEX CHRONICLES series, and the first of their exclusive re-creations of supernatural society secrets. You can uncover more paranormal, inter-dimensional classified information at AEKIRK.com and Facebook.com/AandEKirk.com.

Citizens of Earth, you are welcome.
