Waiting on Wednesday #2

White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Release Date: February 25, 2013
Publisher: Harlequin Teen

Synopsis from Goodreads:

One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous

and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

5 MORE DAYS UNTIL THE RELEASE!!!!!!!!!

This is so exciting. Ever since I read Bitter Sweet Love and read the sneak peak of White Hot Kiss, I fell in love with this book already. Ever since I read about Layla and Zayne in Bitter Sweet Love, I fell in love with them as a pair. But then Roth shows up and is apparently watching Layla. I am so confused about who I ship because I always know who I want the girl to end up with. Zayne's protectiveness of Layla was so sweet and I think I'm currently smitten by him. But then I'll read about Roth and ughh!

Then we have the problem with Danika wanting to mate with Zayne and his father also wanting him to mate with Danika as well. I feel like she'll interfere and I have a feeling that I won't like her because even though I want Layla to be with Roth, I also want her for Zayne.

It's so frustrating and I haven't even read the book yet. Do you see what you do to me Jen? :|
