Stacking The Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves; books you buy in physical stores or online; books you borrow from friends or the library, gifts, and e-books!

Being on a book buying ban sucks!! I got a bunch of free e-books through Amazon and being on blog tours. I do confess, I broke it *gasps.* But it was for a book I've been wanting to get and it was for a good price. I got The Kiss of Deception for $5.99. Book Outlet was selling it on the Amazon Marketplace and I said "why not?"

I hope my book buying ban angel isn't mad at me. Last time she stopped me. I had originally bought The Kiss of Deception the same way but the order was canceled because they were shockingly out of stock!!

I can't wait to hold it in my arms!! It sounds so awesome and lots of people seem to like it. I already started it on the e-book but I stopped because I want to read the hardcover.

I had requested The Girl at Midnight on Netgalley but I was able to get my hands on the paperback arc when I went to ALA Midwinter. Then, all late about it, the publisher accepts my request and I was able to get the e-book. I was lucky because I was in the middle of reading it so I had two ways of reading it!

I won a signed limited edition of Twisted Perfection by Abbi Glines during the Rosemary Beach Read-Along. It's so pretty!!

I got all these freebies on Amazon Kindle and they all look amazing!!

  1. Started The Kiss of Deception last year but didn't get around to finishing it eventhough what I've read so far wasn't bad. Hopefully soon. I'm really excited for The Girl at Midnight!

    Great haul! Happy reading :)

    1. I hope I do too. I'm kind of worried because so many people seem to like it. I hope I'm not a part of that 1% that doesn't like it lol.

  4. Ahh I cannot wait for Minnow Bly! It's definitely one of my most anticipated titles of the summer. I am so intrigued by the premise and the cover is beautiful as well. I'm not sure if you've read The Kiss of Deception yet or not, but it is fantastic! I recently reread it and it was just as fun and gorgeous as the first time around.

  5. Urgh, a book buying ban! I've been on one for two months yet I still managed to obtain about 50 books...not quite sure how that happened...I'm also someone who does not finish a lot of books. As soon as I get tired of a book I dump it to find a new booky adventure...
