April Wrap Up

For some reason, April has been the slowest reading month for me. For one week, I didn't pick up a book!! I could have read more than I what did. But I was still in a reading slump. It was so bad that I even considered just taking a break from reading. But then I picked up a book and I found myself loving it!! But then it got annoying halfway through. I'm still glad it got me to enjoy reading again. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't read all the books I wanted to this month.

Book I Read:

Currently Reading:

I know I said that I wanted to post my favorite three books of the month in my monthly wrap-up posts. But sadly, I didn't really like them too much to even call them favorites. I did enjoy Nash, 99 Days, and The Raven. But they're not too memorable. In fact, I think the book I am enjoying out of the books I read is the one I'm currently reading.

   The Wrath and The Dawn!!

I may or may not finish this today. I will do my best as I want to publish my review on the fourth of May. So stay tuned for that!

What did you guys read this month? And what May book releases are you looking forward to?

  1. Reading slumps are the worst! I'm glad you got over it though, even if the book that helped didn't turn out to be as great as you originally thought. The Wrath and the Dawn looks so amazing! So jealous that you got it. ;)

  2. Book slumps can be hard. I went through one last year that latest for, like, 3 months. It was beyond terrible. Sometimes you just need a break. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying The Wrath and the Dawn. I'm excited to read that one.
