Introducing Book Boyfriends (Fictional Boy Talk)

I decided to create the Book Boyfriends (Fictional Boy Talk) meme because you know how it is for bookish people. We all have those bizillion crushes on fictional guys and I wanted to be able to talk about every one of my book boyfriends!!

I decided that this meme will be on Tuesdays 'cause I really don't do any meme that day. Sometimes I like to do the Top Ten Tuesday meme but only occasionally. And you guys can hop in as well and create this post as well. It can be any boy from any
book you have read whether you're currently reading it or not. That doesn't matter and neither does it matter if it's YA, NA, or Adult.
  • Pick your book boyfriend for the week
  • Post the book cover and summary.
  • Introduce him. Describe him. (Personality, Appearance, Interests)
  • You can go on and on however you'd like.
  • Tease us with pictures or graphics or videos.
  • Tell us why you love him.
  • Pick favorite quotes.
  • Choose a picture of how you imagine him. (optional)
  • Leave your link to your post.
  • Use the picture above.
You don't have to do all of this. This is just to give you some ideas as to what you will be seeing with this boyfriend meme. And I will try to do every book boyfriend differently. But if you decide to do this please do leave your link to this post, I'd love to see it.

Here's my very first Book Boyfriend:

Cameron Hamilton

Wait For You and Trust In Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Wait For You, #1

Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…
But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

We get to see Cameron's point of view in Trust In Me!!

Trust In Me, #1.5
From the NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author of WAIT FOR YOU, this is the story of Cam and Avery’s sizzling romance as you’ve never seen it before, told exclusively from Cam’s perspective…
Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up – he can’t get this feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.
Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. What will it take to help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery’s life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

Cameron Hamilton (AKA Cam) is tall, dark, and handsome. He has blue eyes and wavy black hair. He is 6 feet and 3 inches tall.

Let's hear what Avery has to say about him:

“He was gorgeous in all the ways that made girls do stupid things. He was tall, a good head or two taller than me and broad at the shoulders, but tapered at the waist. An athlete’s body — like a swimmer’s. Wavy black hair toppled over his forehead, brushing matching eyebrows. Broad cheekbones and wide expressive lips completed the package created for girls to drool over. And with those sapphire-colored eyes, holy moley…”

He is very confident and cocky. And when Avery shows up, he's charming and sweet.

He also bakes!!!

“I have cookies.”

“Cookies?” My brows rose.

“Yeah, and I made them. I’m quite the baker.”

For some reason, I couldn’t picture that. “You baked cookies?”

“I bake a lot of things, and I’m sure you’re dying to know all about those things. But tonight, it was chocolate and walnut cookies. They are the shit if I do say so myself.”

He's confident

“As cocky as this sounds, I knew I could walk onto that campus and get a date with the nearest available girl. Probably even a girl who wasn’t available, but with Avery, it was like trying to hit on a nun. And not a naughty nun.”

That's it for this week's book boyfriend meme. Tell me all what you thought. And if you have ideas for improvement let me know in the comments.

What did you think of Cam? Have you read his books before?

Note: Those pictures were taken from Google and not my own. I just thought they really awesome. I will create my own next time.
